CONDITIONS OF ENTRY       

 

1.             Entries must be presented in a clean, complete and safe working condition. Please

display your entry pass at all times.

2.             All entries must be insured for third party risk; and road vehicles must be fully licensed (where applicable) and tested in accordance with the regulations for the type of vehicle for the road.

Please have your original insurance certificate with you; the safety officer may ask to inspect it. Failure to comply will imply that the vehicle is uninsured and it will  only be allowed on site as a static display.

3.             No exhibit may be left running unattended. All unattended vehicles must be left securely braked or chocked.

4.             Owners must ensure all drivers are fully competent and permitted in law to operate the class of vehicle exhibited.

5.             A maximum speed of 5 M.P.H shall apply to all vehicles moving on the rally site, and take special care with regard to young children. .

6.             Exhibitors must pay full regard to section organisers and marshal's instructions and conduct themselves in a manner that will not inconvenience or endanger other persons at any time.

7.             No additional vehicle may be brought on to the site without prior negotiation.

8.             Details of acceptance and vehicle passes will be sent in due course.

9.             Exhibitors will not move any vehicle on the show field other than to and from the arena during public opening times without the permission of the show organisers or their officers.

10.           For safety reasons charcoal I gas barbeques of any type will not be permitted on the rally,

camping or parking fields occupied by the show.

11.           CAMPING & CARAVANS: These units to be sited on the campsite as instructed by the

campsite organiser in accordance with caravan club guidelines (3 meters away from adjoining unit to include awning if used).

12.           DRIVERS: Unlicensed drivers will not be permitted to drive any vehicle however powered on the rally, camp or parking fields. The same laws apply on the rally field as on the public highway.

13.           PASSENGERS: Passengers will not ride on vehicles or trailers except sitting on properly

constructed seating.

14.          FUEL: Fuel will not be permitted to be transferred on the campsite or any permeable surface, unless prior permission has been obtained from the event organisers. All

vehicles must carry modem fire extinguishers. .

15.           The use of pyrotechnics, except where permitted for a display, is prohibited. Anyone failing to respect this rule will be asked to leave the show field immediately.

16.           LITTER: Please take your litter home with you.

17.           Show entrants may only arrive on site from noon on Friday May 8th 2009.

18.           Non-professional entrants selling unwanted! surplus items from their vehicles may be asked to donate a small amount to show funds.

19.           Generators may not be used between 23.00hrs and 07.30hrs out of consideration for other users of the site.

 

M.V.T. CODE OF CONDUCT APPLIES TO THIS EVENT.
