Air Cadets  1119 Sqn Air Training Corp will again be helping at the Gathering. The ATC joined us in 2006, and provided useful support with the many Site Duties, which they shared with colleagues from the Army Cadet Force. The Cadets enjoyed a short period as crew on a Green Goddess 

Also during 2006, a Corp of Drums was formed and in the short time has won several awards at national competitions; hopefully the Corp will again be able to play at the Gathering.  

For 2008, 1119 Sqn will be joined by 1165 Sqn from Oswestry and 617 Sqn from Malpas.

Assault Glider Trust The Trust is based at RAF Shawbury, and with an experienced team of craftsmen is slowly re-creating a Horsa Glider. The Horsa was used during WWII, particularly during the period after 6th June 1944, and was seen in large number around Shropshire Airfields.

Army As mentioned elsewhere, the Army provide invaluable assistance in providing a venue for the event. The Services are then provided with a PR and Recruitment opportunity.

SSAFA Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen and Families Association provide invaluable support to  serving and former members of the Armed Services, and their families. There is Branch in most districts. SSAFA will be at the Gathering to promote their activities.

MVT The Gathering is held as an Annual Event in the calendar of the Military Vehicle Trust. Most vehicles on show will be owned by members of the Trust. The MVT has Branches in most areas of the country.
