The Gathering for 2009 will recognise the 65th anniversary of the Allied Invasion of Europe. - members are invited to reflect on the significance of this historic occasion. Chris Brown - 14/3/2009 An Army Padre has been requested, - to officiate at Church Parade on Sunday 10 May 2009; the Royal British Legion standard, ATC Sqns and MVT members will be present. Chris Brown -14/3/2009 Units of Army Cadet Force (ACF) and Air Training Corps (ATC) - the ACF have been invited to join us, but members of 1119 Sqn 1165 Sqn and 617 Sqn ATC will be present. Chris Brown -14/3/2009 Entertainment is planned to for Saturday evening, with a Military quiz also being planned. Preparations are also in hand for a Road Run to another 'historic' site. Battle of Britain Memorial Flight - awaiting confirmation. Chris Brown -14/3/2009 WW II Re-enactors - The Don Cossack Cavalry Regiment horse display will be again be requested. Chris Brown - 14/3/2009 SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors and Airmen and Families Association) - have been invited to attend, to help promote public awareness of their work. Chris Brown - 14/3/2009
